Hartford Hospital’s Young Leaders Advisory Council (YLAC) raised $25,000 for the Grace S. Webb School at the Institute of Living (IOL) through their annual 2025 Spring Into Action community fundraiser.
The net proceeds from the event will support the transformation of an underutilized space on the IOL campus, which will be renovated into a vibrant and functional learning center where students can safely foster basic life and vocational skills that promote independence and a better quality of life.
The Grace S. Webb School at the IOL is dedicated to helping students thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially. As a therapeutic day school serving ages 5 to 22, students are provided individualized education and integrated clinical services to support every learner on their unique path to success.
Consisting of early to mid-career professionals in the Hartford region, YLAC promotes Hartford Hospital, its innovative programs, and critical services through social and educational events, fundraising, and ambassadorship in the community. The group strives to educate upcoming generations about Hartford Hospital while cultivating emerging community leaders with an affinity for the hospital. Members represent a wide range of industries—including the nonprofit sector, insurance, finance, law, health care, and others.
