The Robert R. Rosenheim Foundation made a transformative $660,000 investment to establish the Robert R. Rosenheim Therapeutic Paws Program at Hartford Hospital. This generous gift will allow us to:
- Expand our beloved Pet Therapy Program to reach even more patients, colleagues, and students.
- Invest in training, infrastructure, and staff to ensure the program’s long-term success.
- Support students at the Grace S. Webb School through animal-assisted activities and outreach.
“Pet therapy is more than a visit from a dog; our pet therapy teams provide a spark of happiness, a moment of healing, and a bridge to emotional well-being,” shared Lynn Rossini, Vice President of Philanthropy, at the Fall 2025 celebration. “We are deeply grateful for the Rosenheim Foundation’s philanthropic support, as their generosity is changing lives, brightening days, and spreading hope across our community.”
Cheryl Ficara, RN, MS, NEA-BC, President of Hartford Hospital and the Hartford Region, expressed a heartfelt thank you to Diane Libby, Dr. Emily Biddick, Michael Adams, and Michael Samartino from the Rosenheim Foundation for their incredible commitment to enhancing the healthcare experience for all, including our very own colleagues.
