The Hartford Hospital Auxiliary awarded more than $198,000 in Fall 2025 Project Grants to support initiatives that enhance patient and staff experience, research, and community health and wellness across the hospital.

Each year, the Auxiliary’s biannual grant cycles—held every fall and spring—provide funding for department and program proposals that bring meaningful improvements to care delivery, hospital life, and patient experience. Projects are selected through a competitive review process, and special opportunities may also be funded throughout the year.

This fall’s review was particularly inspiring, with physicians and staff presenting projects that highlight innovation, compassion, and collaboration at every level of care. The Auxiliary extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and shared their expertise.

Projects funded this cycle include:

  • Mass Casualty Incident Project
  • Barihab XKS Table
  • Fluoroscopy Table
  • Blood Pressure Cuffs
  • CO₂ Incubator (Lab Services)
  • Biobank Project
  • CAIRd Shaking Incubator
  • EmpowerDB
  • Body Composition Scale (Preventive Cardiology)
  • Ultrasound Probe (Cardiology Critical Care)
  • Wall Bed (Memory Care Center)
