Rev. Dr. Virginia McDaniel, is a singer, pastor, harpist and is qualified as a therapeutic musician. She learned to sing as a young child from her mother and loved singing rounds when the extended family would get together for summer vacations. She majored in choral conducting in college and her love of singing ultimately served her well in 25 years of ministry in the United Church of Christ. Now retired, she offers healing music sessions to residents of area care facilities.
Marcie Swift, M.Ed. NCSP, CMP has been a Certified School Psychologist for over 30 years. In 2002, Marcie earned her certification as a Music Practitioner at the Music for Healing and Transition Program. Marcie uses her harp therapeutically in many venues. "I have offered my therapeutic harp music at the HHC Cancer Centers out of deep gratitude for my doctors and other health care professionals. Were it not for our continuing vigilance combined with keen medical expertise, I would not be alive today. I am particularly indebted to Dr. Mark Dailey not only for his vast knowledge but his kind and compassionate devotion to my well-being." marcieswift.com
