Big Y donated $5,000 to the Hartford Hospital Breast Cancer Program to commemorate the supermarket’s 15th Annual Partners of Hope Campaign, which promotes breast cancer screening, education, and treatment.
“I think it’s wonderful that Big Y and Hartford Hospital are both here to take care of people in the region, because for us it’s all about giving back to the communities where we do business,” shared Tracy Lambertson, Store Director at Big Y in West Hartford. “Everyone loves Hartford Hospital and it’s great to have them as a pillar within this community.”
Big Y Foods, Inc., has donated just over $292,000 to the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital and its Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center since their first gift in 2009.
