About the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital and its Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center

The most advanced and comprehensive cancer care in the state is available at the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute. This year we celebrate the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital and its Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center. The Center is one of the largest of its kind in the Northeast and was chosen to be the charter member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance. The Alliance offers the community invaluable access to the latest research and innovative trials while offering a direct link to the most advanced treatments for cancer, survivorship, and beyond.

The Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center at Hartford HealthCare’s Cancer Institute at Hartford Hospital is home to an expert team of medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, nurses, and researchers. Together, we offer the highest level of care, with more than 50,000 patient visits annually. In addition, the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute-Avon and Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute-Manchester provide comprehensive care and other cancer-related specialties, such as a full spectrum of integrative medicine, in a neighborhood setting. We care for the whole person, and meet them where they are, so that life during treatment and after cancer continues to be rich and rewarding.

Funds raised from the 2023 Black & Red will help support innovative research, access to more prevention and detection programs, and providing world-class, compassionate care for patients and their families.
