Da’malisha Ervin, a Medical Assistant from Hartford HealthCare Endocrinology, was selected as the 2024 recipient of the Aucoin Family Endocrinology Scholarship and awarded $10,000 to support her education and career advancement plans.

The scholarship was established by the Aucoin Family Foundation, which generously contributed funds to provide financial support to Hartford HealthCare Endocrinology colleagues actively seeking professional growth opportunities.

Da’malisha has worked at Hartford HealthCare for three years and is currently enrolled at Naugatuck Community College, where she is working toward her associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Her career goal is to one day work in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) as a sonographer.

“I am passionate about ultrasound technology—and I aim to deliver accurate and compassionate care to ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process,” Da’malisha stated in her scholarship application. “I hope to stay current with advancements in technology and techniques to contribute to improved patient outcomes.”

“We are grateful to the Aucoin Family Foundation for the life-changing opportunities and resources they are providing our Endocrinology Team,” said Lynn B. Rossini, Vice President of Philanthropy. “Helping colleagues to pursue education and advance their careers is incredibly important to our organization and we are so thankful that the Aucoin Family has provided Da’malisha this generous support to help her achieve her dream.”
