Thank you to everyone who supported Better than Normal, which was broadcast on Fox 61, NBC CT, WFSB, & WTNH on January 30, 2021. In place of Hartford Hospital’s Black & Red, this 30 minute broadcast features stories of how the pandemic has impacted our community, our hospital, and our health system. Better than Normal netted over $1.1 million to address long-standing racial and ethnic disparities in health outcomes. Your gifts continue to support Hartford HealthCare’s COVID testing and vaccine clinics in underserved neighborhoods. Gifts will also support Hartford Hospital’s Food FARMacy and Wholesome Communities Connecticut projects to address food insecurity and other health equity programs.
