Black & Red Artwork Submission
Calling All Hartford Hospital and IOL Artists.
The 2026 beneficiary will be announced in the coming weeks. You’re encouraged to create freely — let black and red inspire your design rather than the beneficiary theme.
Mediums Accepted
We welcome artwork created in almost any medium, including paint, pencil, ink, chalk, photography, and mixed media. Please note that sculptures or other three-dimensional art forms will not be considered.
Color Scheme & Style
We encourage artists to prominently feature black and red in their color schemes. Selected pieces are typically abstract in style.

Artwork Specifications:
- Artwork can be any size, rectangular or square.
- The selected piece will be professionally photographed for use on the event invitation.
- Our designer will add the date and Black & Red logo on the final product.
- Each colleague may submit up to two pieces for consideration.
Selection Process & Recognition
A panel of judges will review all submissions and select the winning artwork. The chosen artist will be honored as the Featured Artist and receive two complimentary tickets to the Black & Red event on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Eligibility & Submission Details
To be eligible, you must be an employee or volunteer of Hartford Hospital or the Institute of Living. Please complete the submission form below and upload an image of your artwork by Friday, January 2, 2026. If your piece is selected, you will be asked to lend the original artwork for display at the event.
