With Gavin DeGraw entertaining a sold-out crowd, Black & Red ReImagined raised $2 million in support of the Institute of Living (IOL) as it celebrates 200 years of pioneering work in behavioral health care.

Hartford Hospital’s signature fundraising event officially kicked off a two-year celebration of the Institute of Living in honor of its 200th anniversary. Funds raised will support the Institute of Living’s continuing innovative work in easing the burden of mental illnesses and substance-use disorders on individuals, families, and communities.

The Institute of Living remains at the forefront of behavioral health.
It offers patients hope for recovery through comprehensive care, research, education, and the expertise of the best clinical minds in the fields of behavioral, psychiatric, and addiction disorders. The 2022 Black & Red will kick off a two-year celebration in honor of the IOL’s bicentennial.
