Please join us on October 7, 2024 for the 8th Annual Driving for H.O.P.E Golf Tournament to benefit the John Hayes Fund for H.O.P.E at Hartford HealthCare’s Cancer Institute.
John Hayes was an incredible Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend who was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer in 2015. After his diagnosis and while undergoing treatment for his cancer, John believed that there was a reason why he had cancer and believed that he was in that situation for a reason. After sitting in the Cancer Center at Hartford Hospital for days and hours on end, it finally came to him. He wanted to help others who were in the same situation but who were far less fortunate than he was and so the John Hayes Fund for H.O.P.E was created.
The John Hayes Fund for H.O.P.E stands for Helping Others Pay Expenses and specifically helps ease the financial burden for all patients undergoing cancer treatments allowing them to focus on their recovery and family during an extremely difficult time in their lives. The Driving for H.O.P.E event has helped raise money for this fund and has helped many people as they focus on their fight against cancer.
